
The Microsoft is working to make its newest operating system, Windows 8 is capable of, among other functions, to voice recognition commands to execute. The product will be known as Microsoft Tellme. The intention is to create a consolidated system where everything can be done by voice, without the need for peripherals such as mouse and keyboard.
The Windows functions would add eight new generation of smartphones and Kinect, leading the user experience with the computer to the next level, where the interaction does not need to touch and voice would be predominant in human-computer relationship.
Microsoft executives have been showing at various events such as Windows phones can make calls via spoken queries, but the new version of phones can turn text into speech and vice versa, a great resource to send messages on social networks and e-mails.
Already Kinect, control of Microsoft releasing peripherals using only body movement, can recognize voice and link it to Bing , making searches of movies, videos, music and anything else that can be searched by the tool, just using voice.
Windows 7 already performs some functions through voice, but with unsatisfactory results to Microsoft.
